This Celtic Spiral necklace is made out of an etched Trinidad & Tobago coin, featuring a Chaconia (wild poinsettia) on the reverse side.
The Triple Spiral, or Triskele, is a Celtic/Pre-Celtic symbol that was originally found carved on ancient stone ruins. Some speculate that it was a Pagan fertility symbol representing the nine months of pregnancy. This theory is based on the way that the sun makes a spiral-like pattern every three months As with many other Celtic symbols, the Triskele was adopted by Christians to represent the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, making it a symbol of Eternity.
