Golden Spiral

Regular price $46.00

This necklace is made out of an etched Denali National Park Quarter, featuring a Dall sheep, and Mount McKinley on the reverse side.

This design is used to portray the mathematical workings of the Golden Ratio. Some of the most well known works of art and architecture throughout history incorporate the Golden Ratio, as it has been found to be mysteriously beautiful to the human eye. These works include DaVinci's Vitruvian man, and the ancient Parthenon of Greece. Examples of this symbol can also be found throughout nature, such as in the Nautilus shell.
